Description

DTCG87-02-B-643129 Replace Wharf Sewer Line at U. S. Coast Guard Station Juneau, Juneau, Alaska. The work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other incidentals to demolish and dispose of existing sewer piping suspended from the Station Juneau wharf and install new sewer lines. Work includes, but is not limited to demolition and disposal of existing sewer lines and accessories, install new insulated, heat taped and jacketed sewer lines, most of them suspended and supported beneath the pier, provide new access hatches, install heat tape control system, install 208 volt electric circuit for heat trace system including conduit, wiring, circuit breakers and junction box, and minor incidental items. The estimated start work date is 30 calendar days after receipt of notice of award, with a performance period of 180 calendar days. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program, public law 100-656, as implemented by the OFPP Policy Directive and Test Plan dated 8/31/89. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234910 and the applicable size standard is $27.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENTS OBLIGATION UNDER THIS CONTRACT IS CONTINGENT UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF APPROPRIATED FUNDS FROM WHICH PAYMENT FOR CONTRACT PURPOSES CAN BE MADE. NO LEGAL LIABILITY ON THE PART OF THE GOVERNMENT FOR ANY PAYMENT MAY ARISE UNTIL FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. All responsible sources may submit a bid. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be July 22, 2002) from the Government-wide Electronic Posting System website (FedBizOpps) at http://www.eps.gov.
