Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.3, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written Solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request Number is F7300922111100 and is being issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ), and is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This acquisition falls under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 926120; the number of employees under this code is 750 for manufacturers and dealers.. The request is as follows: The contractor shall, except as specified in this Statement of Work (SOW) as government furnished property or services, provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform Motorcycle Safety Training at Travis AFB from 1 Oct 02 thru 30 Sept 03; Plus 4 one year options. The contractor shall perform the requirement in this SOW and conform to the professional standards identified in this contract, and follow all applicable instructions and directives as identified by this SOW. FOB point is Travis Air Force Base, CA 94535. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
