Description
Description of Requirement. The requirement is divided into three phases, a list of optional equipment pieces and support service. Following is equipment list for the first phase. Quantities are one (1) each unless otherwise indicated. Phase I equipment list is as follows: 1) Sharp XG-P20XU LCD Projection System; 2) Sharp AN-W6EZ Wide angle lens for projector; 3) Chief CMA 100 mounting equipment 4) Chief RPA006 Projector mounting adapter 5) Extron cables, including RGBHV and VGA, S-video, Composite and control cables; 6) Extron SW2VGADA2A VGA auto switcher and DA, with audio follow (at podium); 7) Extron System 7SC master system switcher; 8) Extron BNC5/DB15F or M cable adapters, as needed for connectivity; 9) Video, audio and control cables to complete system 10) AMX Control Panel, Portable, Viewpoint Two-way 6" active color LCD touch screen; 11) Color touch screen programming and new main system programming; 12) All design, fabrication, installation configuration, testing and training services. Phase II equipment list is as follows: 1) Polycom VS4000 H.323codec, including all accesories provided in factory packaging; 2) Polycom PRI-T1 module for FX/VS4000; 3) Sony EVI D-30 PTZ camera with remote, mounts and standard Sony cable set for D-30PTZ; 4) Navitar HiLite-XL adjustable conference light with remote controls (Quantity 4); 5) AMX ACRK rack mount for modules; 6) AMX AXBIRS4 module; 7) AMX AXBVOL3A module; 8) AMX Radia RDM-ZC zero cross switch module; 9) Extron video DA; 10) Extron system cables for S-video, audio, control to extend connections to room positions; 11) All cables for interconnect to control IR dimming for VTC lights from AMX control system; 12) All design, fabrication, installation, configuration, testing and training services. Phase III equipment list as follows: 1) Sony EVID-30 PTZ camera w/remote, mounts and standard Sony cable set for D-30PTZ; 2) Sony 32" WEGA monitor; 3) VFI or Video Lab 32" WEGA monitor CART; 4) AMX control Panel, portable, viewpoint two-way 6" active color LCD touch screen; 5) AMX AXBIRS4 module; 6) Navitar Hilite XL adjustable conference light, with remote controls (Quantity 4); 7) Extron system cables for S-video, audio, control to extend connectins to room positions 8) All cable for interconnect to control IR dimming for VTC lights from AMX control system; 9) All design, fabrication, installation, configuration, testing and training services. Optional equipment list is as follows: 1) Extron YCS-SW6-MX Switcher with Y/C separator and RS-232 control and rack mount; 2) Extron SW6VGA switcher and rack mount 3) AMX Viewpoint one way color panel 4) Extron VSC200 High Resolution Computer/Video Scan Converter. Maintenance support services are as follows 1) Access to telephone support 8AM - 8 PM Mon - Fri 2) On-Site VTC support for one year, including up to four site visits during normal business hours 3) Overnight replacement of VTC equipment. Question: What are the physical dimensions of the room; length, width and height Answer: Command Conf Room is 28' x 41' x 10' VTC Room is 16' x 20' x 10' The over the ceiling cable distance between the VTC Room equipment location and the Command Conference Equipment Room (which adjoins the Command Conf Room)is 100' (right angle measurements) and does not include "drop down" distance from ceilings. 2. Question: What is the distance between the structure above the drop ceiling and the actual drop ceiling? Answer: Approximately 2 feet. 3. Question: Where will the equipment be physically located? Answer: Two locations of VTC usage and one location for Projection Equipment VTC USAGE: VTC ROOM: Video Conference Equipment will be on a 16' wall that is farthest fromt he Command Conference Room; centrally located Video Conference Equipment can be located in the Command Conference Equipment Room (adjoining Command Conference Room) which is 100' away. Equipment can also be located in the Command Conference Equipment PROJECTION/AUDIO EQUIPMENT; Command Conference Room Projection/Audio Equipment will be in the Command Conference Equipment Room. 3. Question: Is there a rack and where will it be located? Answer: Assume no equipment racks available for your equipment. There is physical space in the Command Conference Equipment Room to place some equipment racks as required. For VTC Room assume some VTC equipment is mounted in cabinet in the VTC room. For Command Conference Room, technical equipment will be placed in equipment racks in the adjoining Equipment Room. Existing ISDN BRI Phone Lines: Existing ISDN BRI phone lines (eight each ISDN BRI Lines) for ISDN VTC Equipment appear in wall of VTC Room. These lines can be relocated by the government to the Command VTC Equipment Room if required. 4. Question: Is the floor drilled for cable runs? Answer: Command Conference Room to adjoining Command Conference Equipment Room has underfloor cable ducts. VTC room has no readily available floor ducts to connect Command Conference Equipment Room (interconnecting cables must traverse over ceiling (plenum rated cables due to return air space. 5. Question: Is there an existing screen and if so what is the size? Answer: 8'W x 6'H Rear projection screen between the Command Conference Room and the adjoining Command Conference Equipment Room. 6. Question: Audio is not addressed, is there an existing audio system? Answer: Yes
