Description
Fire Life Safety Upgrade of two Airport Traffic Control Towers (ATCT) (1) David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport (DWH) 9125 Boudreu Road, Houston, Texas 77348 and (2) Easterwood Field (CLL) 1760 George Bush Drive W., College Station, Texas 77845 The work consists of but is not limited to: 1. ?nInstallation and testing of new fire detection/alarm system and demolition of the existing fire alarm system in the ATCT and the base building including the interconnecting corridor. 2. Installation of new fire-rated access doors, partitions, barriers and systems. 3. Replacement or modification, repair, patching, painting, refinishing, resurfacing of existing walls, partitions, and/or ceilings 4. Sealing off existing and/or newly made penetrations or openings through walls, floors, soffit, etc. with fire-stop sealant(s), caulks, mortars, mineral/ceramic wool, gypsum wallboard, and/or masonry. 5. Application of sprayed-on fireproofing materials or intumescent paint to protect steel structures or hatches 6. Installation of new louvers, dampers, fire doors, and related hardware and electrical gear, or modification/repair of existing doors, dampers. 7. Training for FAA personnel assigned to maintain the fire alarm system. 8. Preparation of documentation describing as-built! configuration and operation and maintenance of systems and equipment and warranty of the work. 9. Make necessary adjustments to existing emergency elevator recall system and its connections to the new fire alarm control panel (FACP) to comply with current federal, state, city, and local building codes and regulations. NAICS code is 235990 Magnitude of the project is between $250,000 - $500,000 This project is set aside for Small Business.
