Description

NA FED Biz OPS AMMENDMENT The following shall serve as an AMENDMENT to the current Market Survey (posted August 16, 2002) covering DAAB07-02-R-D045 for the Infantry Helmet Headset. 1. The Capability Demonstrations are hereby delayed to the week of October 15, 2002 (it is noted that Monday, October 14, 2002 is a holiday). 2. Samples of the headsets shall be made available by the offeror during the Capability Demonstration. Each prospective offeror shall leave two (2) headset samples with the Government. It is anticipated that the Government will need to borrow the samples for approximately 30 days. Minimally, the Government will examine attenuation and comfort. 3. Each prospective offeror shall discuss his product that is intended to meet the Government?s requirements for the Infantry Helmet Headset. Marketing and general product information is not desired at this time. 4. Each prospective offeror can provide comments to the performance specification as shown on the Market Survey during the Capability Demonstration. 5. Government performance specification PRFA3261202 Rev B represents the current minimum Government technical requirement. 6. The Government performance specification can be found in the Interactive Business Opportunities Page / Army Single Face to Industry (https://abop.monmouth.army.mil) under the U.S. Army Market Research Listing and the Solicitation section. 7. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item and interested in attending the Capabilities Demonstration must so indicate by writing to: Commander, U. S. Army CECOM, Attn: SFAE-PS-TS-DSC (Penta), Fort Monmouth, N.J. 07703-5000. The deadline for response t o this notice is October 8, 2002.
