- NA The synopsis is for commercial items in accordance with the format in the FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is DABT51-02-R-0200, and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). T his RFP incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 01-04. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1796 and the North American Industry Classification System is 235950 $12 million. Description o f service: The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, transportation, services, tools, supplies, materials, vehicles and other equipment to maintain, repair, inspect, and test elevators located in Fort Bliss, Texas in accordance with the Performance Wo rk Statement. The acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with the procedures in FAR Parts 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended. This acquisition is full and open competition. The period of performance will be from the effective date of award or 01 October 2002, whichever is later, with four one-year option periods. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. All pro spective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a Commercial Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract; it does not restrict the Government?s ultimate approach, nor do es it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Requests for a copy of solicitations must be in writing and accompanied by a money order or cashiers check in the amount of $15.00 made payable to the Disbursing Officer. Tentative re lease date for solicitation is 10 September 2002. Copies of provisions and clauses are available on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer co nforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Completed offers may be mailed or hand carried to the Directorate of Contracting, ATZC-DOC, Attn: David Wojciechowski, 2021 Club Road, Fort Bliss, Texas 79916-6812. Offer must be r eceived no later than 1:00PM local time. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency.
