- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex proposes to contract for various sizes and quantities of Insulation Material conforming to MIL-T-24708 for delivery FOB Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. An Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a base year with four (4) one-year options is anticipated. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 421330; the size standard is 100 employees. Inspection and Acceptance will be at destination. The closing date and time for receipt of offers will be specified in the solicitation when issued. Requests for the solicitation will be accepted via mail addressed to: Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, Bldg. 1500, 2nd Floor, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000, ATTN: Nancy M. Hayden, Code 531.4A or via e-mail addressed to haydennm@nnsy.navy.mil. All requests shall include, as a minimum, complete solictation number, the complete mailing address, telephone number, fax number and point of contact. Phone or fax requests are NOT authorized and will NOT be accepted. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION" APPLIES. LACK OF REGISTRATION IN THE CCR DATA BASE WILL MAKE AN OFFEROR/QUOTER INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. INFORMATION RELATIVE TO THE CCR CAN BE OBTAINED THROUGH INTERNET AT hhtp://ccr.edi.disa.mil.
