Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS)intends to issue a fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Invision Media Communications to procure services, under an aggressive performance schedule, for federal and state tax workshop on a multimedia CD-ROM for use by small business concerns. All work is expected to be completed within approximately ten (10) weeks. Under this order, the IRS intends to acquire the design, development, video, audio, graphic images, and mastering of a multimedia CD-ROM workshop with employees from a variety of ethnic and geographical backgrounds. The product needs to be closed-captioned in English, Spanish and possibly Mandarin Chinese. The CD-ROM shall provide the business concerns with interactive opportunities to practice what is being taught. The CD-ROM shall provide comprehensive information of filing and paying for all federal taxes, including all appropriate definitions for terms. The CD-ROM shall provide the same training and information for each of the states, including identification of all issues where the state rules, definitions or laws differ from the federal. All responsible sources that can provide the above requirement shall submit, in writing, their capability statements by the specified dated of September 12, 2002 to the IRS Contracting Officer. All capability statements shall also include, but not limited to, the point of contact (name and telephone/fax numbers, and email address) and business size. All questions must be submitted in writing.
