Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0135 is issued as a request for quotations. 55 CONS intends to issue one purchase order for the following items. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description of Needed Item Item Description: One (1) Cooler, Oil, and Size 10180. Direct replacement oil cooler bundle for LVS GDT Copper-Bessemer Engine, Type 7, size 10180, Manufactured by Basco INC. Manufacturer Name: Basco, INC, Division American Precision Industries INC. Manufacturer Part Number: # 70A04A10180 NSN: 6115AC021K Shell Tube Max Working Pressure 150 400 Max Temperature 200 200 Shell .307, Head .312, Rad. 2-1 End Item name- Cooper-Bessmer, Model LSV16GDT, Diesel Engine Cooper Bessmer Part# 2-02H-708-001 This Oil Cooler / Heat Exchanger is mounted to the end item at four hard pipe flange locations. It has 60-psi engine oil and 45-psi cooling water going through it. We must have an exact fit. This also includes a tubed bundle assembly inside this housing and end caps. This solicitation is issued as a 100 percent small business set-aside; the NAICS Code is 421830; the NAICS size standard is 100; and the SIC Code is 5084. ? All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database BY AWARD DATE will make a bidder ineligible for award.
