Description

Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ) and will follow simplified acquisition procedures. Responses are requested pursuant to this announcement. All responses shall reference Solicitation 192P0150528/0003. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 01-09, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52-212-1. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. This procurement is set aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification Code System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 421430. For this NAICS a small business is not to exceed 500 employees. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office requires the following line items and quantities: Line item 1: ACEdirector 3 with AC Power 8 10/100Base-T ports, 1 1000BASE-SX and WebOS SLB/AR, Manufacturer#EB1404038, Quantity: 3. Line item 2: ISD-310 SSL accelerator, 10/100Base-t Connection, Manufacturer # EB1639004, Quantity: 2. Delivery will be made no later than September 26, 2002 in one inside delivery to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Attn: Ly Phan, PK2 Suite 1001, Room D1003, 2121 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA 22202. Instruction to Offerors: -Offerors are requested to submit one quote electronically to brendonj.johnson@ustpo.gov. -The award will include the clauses cited at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. -All orders are F.O.B. destination within the stated delivery times. Quotes shall be delivered via email to brendonj.johnson@uspto.gov no later than 2:00 PM (EST) on September 12, 2002.
