- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a purchase order for services of a vendor to develop a proposal for funding outlining the activities to be carried out by the Partnership for Social Sciences and Malaria control (PSSMC) for the up coming 5 years. extensive knowledge of the use of social science i publi health and malaria research and control, experience in writing proposals, obtaining program funding from international donars, technical writing and editing, and must demonstrat awareness of the current issues in malaria relating to the aeas of research, policy, and implementation. It is anticipated that award of a purchase order around December 15, 2002 with a period of performance for 45 calendar days from the date of award. A Request for Quotes (RFQ) and any amendments will be posted on the FedBizOpps website. Hardcopies of the RFQ and any amendments issued will not be mailed to potential vendors unless specifically requested in writing by e-mail to amn3@cdc.gov). Requests should reference the RFQ number, state the name of the firm, name of requestor, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address.
