Description

The work to be performed includes the underwater removal of an existing trashrack, two 72-inch-diameter slide gates, and two concrete pedestals and the underwater installation of two new 72-inch diameter slide gates and two replacement trashracks to rehabilitate the existing outlet works. This work is located at Pueblo Dam, approximately 3 miles west of the city and county of Pueblo, Colorado. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for October 31, 2002 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The Solicitation packages will be available on or around October 1, 2002. There is no charge for the first copy of this solicitation, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each set. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 332313. The small business size standard is 500 Employees. This acquisition is unrestricted. After issuance, the Solicitation (excluding Drawings) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To request a hard copy of the solicitation (including drawings) contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Gerri Voto. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number.
