Description

REQUIREMENT: General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 50,000 net rentable square feet which will produce approximately 49,322 BOMA usable square feet with 120 (with the ability to increase by 39 over the lease term) secured parking spaces for the Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration DESIGNATED AREA: North: Northwest Military Highway north/northeast to Loop 1604, Loop 1604 East to Huebner Road, Hueber Road north/northeast to Stone Oak Parkway. Stone Oak Parkway north/east to IH281 East: IH281 south to Redland Road. Redland Road south to Jones Maltsberger Road. Jones Maltsberger Road south/southwest to Starcrest South: Starcrest east to Wetmore Road. Wetmore Road south to Loop 410 West: Loop 410 west to Northwest Military Highway UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Space shall be located on second story or higher and the Government will have access to the space 24/7, 365 days a year. Secured parking is required. The building shall have a minimum of a 100 foot setback on all sides of the building, excluding right of ways and easements. The Government shall have the right to mount antennas on the roof. DEA cannot, for the security and safety of employees, be collocated with other Federal, State or local government agencies or private firms whose primary clientele are involved in or have ties to criminal elements. Build-to-suit proposals will be accepted for this procurement. LOCATION: DEA may not be located near residential areas, day care centers and schools. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1) Building name and address 2) Square footage offered 3) Method of Measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 4) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted 5) Evidence of authority to represent the owner. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the offer enter into negotiations concerning the space to be leased with representatives of Federal Agencies other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration.
