- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotation being request and a written solicitation will not be issued. The procurement is for the following items: (A) ION Scan Model: 400B (or equal). Quantity: 1. (B) Sampling Swabs, Explosives part#: 15883. Quantity: 3 CN. (C) Air Purification Cartridges part#: 3810879. Quantity: 6 each. (D) DC Vacuum Sampler part#: 6811089. Quantity: 1 each. (E) Interactive Training CDROM part#: CDROM01. Quantity: 1 each. This solicitation, F04626-02-Q-0017 is being used as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09. This solicitation is restricted to (100% small business set-aside.) This acquisition falls under the Standard Industrial Classification Number 3829, the North American Industry Classification System 334516, and the Business Size Standard or number of employees under this code is 500. Vendor must be actively registered with Central Contractor Registration. Offers must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item applies to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Overall price is the evaluation factor. The following additional FAR provisions and clauses do apply: FAR 52.212-4 is incorporated by reference and will incorporated in the Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. Quotes without this provision completed will not be considered. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial, to include clauses (b)(11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17), (24): DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration.
