Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The government intends to issue a sole source purchase order to revise codes in 78 panels of the Energy Management Computer System to Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., Beltsville, Maryland j20705. This system is required to interface with existing consoles, hardware, firmware and the operating system, Insight Software. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competivite proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because the introduction of alternate equipment would cause compatability issues with the existing control system.
