Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), OC/OIRM, has a requirement to be awarded on a sole source for the purchase of the renewal of Microsoft Premier Support services for the period of one year. This requirement will be made to Microsoft Corporation, Charlotte, N.C. The FDA requires immediate response and problem resolution for technical issues involving Microsoft products. FDA also requires subscriptions to Technet and MSDN for security patches and updates for immediate fixes of Microsoft products. Microsoft will provide Proactive Services to help in the planning and preparing for effective systems management and operations. Consulting services to identify and help prevent common support issues to decrease likelihood of systems outages and reduce costs. Supportability reviews to provide a systems review of a plan for a specific system implementation, migration, or upgrade and provide recommendations as necessary. Information services to provide technical information about Microsoft products and support tools that enable FDA to implement and operate Microsoft products in an efficient and effective manner. Premier on-line support website services are also provided. Therefore, awarded will be made on a sole source basis and no solicitation will result from this announcement.
