Description
This is a combined synopsis/RFP for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation, M67004-02-P-0636, is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The government intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Quinn Engine Systems. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 4211880. The Statement of Work (SOW) is as follows: PURCHASE AND INSTALL TWO EACH DIESEL CONTROL PANELS AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS ACCORDING TO SOW/SPECIFICATIONS AS LISTED: *Remote floor standing Control Panels are to be mounted in a NEMA 1 enclosure for indoor use. Equipped with removable side and rear panels, internal barrier forming control/circuit breaker compartments, piano hinged upper and lower front access doors with T- handle latches, painted ANSI#61 gray and with dimensions of 72" high X 30" wide X 43" deep. ADDITIONS INLUDED: * One each molded case circuit breaker. Three - pole, fixed mounted, manually operated, 1200 ampere frame sized with 1000 ampere adjustable solid state trip, shunt trip coil and auxiliary contacts. *Two sets of three-phase aluminum bus bar extensions, extends from circuit breaker to the rear of cubicle for field connection of line and load cables, a NEMA standard hole pattern shall be provided. *One isolated neutral bus, tin plated aluminum, rated for capacity of system. *Three current transformers, as required. Wired to shorting type terminal board. *One automatic engine start/stop cranking controls, with logic circuits for operation with the engine. The engine cranking controls shall include fault lamp shutdown circuits for low lube oil pressure, high water t emperature, overspeed and over crank (overspeed). 24 VDC operated off the engine battery system. *One engine cooldown run circuit, activated when the auto initiation contact opens, adjustable and factory set @ 5 minutes. *One cycle crank module, adjustable, for use with automatic cranking controls. *One AC ammeter, panel dial type, approx. 2% accuracy, 3.5 inch size. *One AC voltmeter, panel dial type, approx. 2% accuracy, 3.5 inch size. * One Frequency meter, panel dial type, approx. 2% accuracy, 3.5 inch size. *One combination ammeter/voltmeter phase selector switch, four position. *One engine control switch with positions as required. *One emergency stop pushbutton, with lamp, twist to reset type, also trips generator curcuit breaker. *Twelve month factory warranty.
