- DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to purchase 5-6 courses in FY 03 that will allow personnel to receive training in Mentoring in a Diverse Workforce per attached statement of work. Class size 20 Students, Dates: TBD, Location in USCG TRACEN Yorktown, VA or USCG Academy, New London, CT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. This acquisition is on a Small Business Set Aside basis: NAICS 344611 Size 500 SCOPE: If such person wish to submit a quotation it must be received via FAX: (202) 267-4727: Mrs. Freeman, by 4:00 PM, ET, Sept 23 2002. , DC 20593. Electronic transmissions to mfreeman@comdt.uscg.mil are acceptable, but must be timely. This will be a Best-Value award determination based on (1) Price and price-related factors, (2) Technical (3) Past Performance. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Aug 00), 52.212-4 (Aug 00), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug 00).
