Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR the high speed color video system. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to make the following changes (described in detail in the uploaded "amendment 1" file): (1) The CCD or CMOS sensor should have an actual minimum pixel count of 700,000 pixels at 1000 pictures per sec. (2)The system must allow multiple cameras to be triggered from one spot and adjusted for exposure and frame rate from one spot. (3)Cameras must be able to be placed at least 100 feet apart, although further distances of up to 400 feet apart are highly desirable. (4) The images submitted as part of the technical evaluations shall be a single frame at a minimum pixel count of at least 700,000 pixels taken with the camera running at 1000 frames per second and with the shutter speed and lens f-stop indicated. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to 9/18/2002. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 8/29/2002. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
