- ). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii). The proposed action is issued as a request for quotations under FQ250122391800. (iii). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. (iv) This proposed action is proprietary to Honeywell Inc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the work associated with this synopsis is 541990. (v) CLIN 0001 Upgrade fire alarm systems in 7 ea warehouses. (vi) CLIN 0001 Repair, install and replace, as necessary, the existing fire alarm systems in buildings 620, 630, 632, 633, 634, and 650, to interconnect them with the existing base wide fire detection system ? each warehouse should show up individually on the fire station monitor in case of a fire; install, replace or supplement, as necessary, existing wiring and/or conduit to accomplish this project; install 18 gauge wire through existing ducts to connect buildings 620, 630, 632, 633, 634, and 650 to building 640; use fiber optic cable to connect 640 to the base wide fire detection system; program Head End with graphics, addresses and sequence capability at building 600 and workstations located at buildings 720 and 717; install lightning protections, set of two for each cable; perform systems reliability test; demolish and remove unnecessary components. (vii). Place of performance is Schriever AFB, CO. Performance will begin upon receipt of contract. FOB is Destination. (viii) The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix). 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition with the evaluation factors of technical capabilities and price, which are weighed equally and price must be considered fair and reasonable. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the low offeror. (x). The offeror is to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. (xi). The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii). (xiv) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) found in FAR 52.211-15 does not apply to this acquisition. (xv) There are no applicable numbered notes. (xvi) All responses to this request for quotations are due to this office no later than 4 p.m. local time on 25 SEP 2002.
