Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire floor to ceiling demountable/movable office partitions and installation on an unrestricted basis in support of Naval Inventory Control Point, Building 312, Mechanicsburg, PA. Request for Quotation (RFQ) N00140-02-Q-4351 contemplates a firm fixed price purchase order with a delivery date of on or before 01 April 2003. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 54141. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-03. This is a full and open competitive procurement. It is requested that qualified sources are capable of providing the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0001 ? QTY: 891 linear feet of floor to ceiling demountable/movable office partitions; CLIN 0002 ? Installation. The following specifications include the partitions being10 inches in height, 3.5 inches in wall thickness, and a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 44. Drawings are available upon request. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, is included whereby price is the only evaluation factor. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
