Description

NA Provide all labor, tools, equipment, supervision and materials necessary to replace the roof at the 126th Air Refueling Wing, Aircraft Mintenance Hangar, located at Illinois Air National Guard, Scott AFB, Illinois. The work includes but is not limited to: (1) Tearing off the existing modified bitumen roof to the level of roof deck. (2) Installing a new mechanically-attached thermoplastic single-ply membrane roofing system. The new roof will have lettering. (3) Installing a new roof hatch and access ladder . Work is to be accomplshed in strict accordance with the plans and technical provision of the specifications for Project VDYD002001, Repair Aircraft Maintenance Hangar Roof. The estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $500,000, and the construction performance period is 120 calendar days. This project is being procured on an UNRESTRICTED basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)Code is 235610 (Roofing, Siding & Sheet Metal Contractors)and the Size Standard fo r Small Business is $11.5 million in annual receipts for the past 3 years. There is no charge for the plans and specifications, which will be sent in a CD on 16 September 2002. Prime contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Resgistratio n at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. There will be a pre-bid meeting tentatively scheduled for 26 September 2002, at 1:00pm.
