Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation notice. This announcement and attached solicitation consistute the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Justice intends to issue a SOLE SOURCE award to AONIX for maintenance and support of DB2 NOMAD/NAPA/ONE PASS AND SESSION MANAGER software for the period of 10/01/2002 - 9/30/2002 with a follow-on option of 1 year (10/01/2003-9/30/2004). Please see the attached solicitation for additional information. Any responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
