Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC Rochester), 2110 East Center Street, Rochester, MN, 55903, is soliciting for solid waste removal/disposal. Services are advertised as full and open competition. Services will be required for a one year base period, with four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award (if all option periods are exercised). All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $10.5 million. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced web-site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Anticipated award date for base year of contract is September 30, 2002. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quotation which will be considered for award.
