- Description
- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System has a requirement for Radiology and Laboratory Services in support of the McAllen Outpatient Clinic, located in McAllen, Texas for the period of base year and (2) one year options for renewal. Some of the services are to be performed at the contractor's establishment and should be located within the McAllen city limits, facilities must be accessible to the city transit service area. The services requred are as follows: TASK I - Radiologist must be present at the McAllen Clinic to interpret radiology procedures, provide consultations with clinic physicians, to read and dictate routine x-rays and special procedures for VA transcription. TASK II - Contractor shall provide radiology procedures and interpretations for routine x-rays, fluoroscopic, ultrasound and other special radiographic diagnostic procedures for the McAllen Clinic. TASK III - Contractor shall provide all professional radiology consultations and interpretations for Computer Axial Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and other special radiographic diagnostic procedures for McAllen Clinic. TASK IV - Contractor shall provide all professional radiology consultations and interpretations for non-invasive Vascular studies for the McAllen Clinic. TASK V - Contractor shall provide all professional cardiology and pulmonary consultations/services and interpretations for the McAllen Clinic. TASK VI - Contractor shall provide all professional laboratory services and results for the McAllen Clinic. The Radiologists interpreting procedures must be board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and proof of certificationand license to practice must accompany offer. Contractor must be credentialed by the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. The Pathologist processing the lab requests must be board certified in Pathology and proof of certification and license to practice must accompany the offer. Contractor must be credentialed by the South Texas Veterans Health Care System prior to contract award. The laboratory must also be certified by CLIA, JCAHO or CAP. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR 5.102(a). This solicitation is prepared in the commercial item format and is consistent with FAR Part's 2 and 12. This solicitation is unrestricted. NAICS 621511 and 621512 applies. The small business standard is 11.5 million. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technicial standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. All responsible sources may submit an offer. The Government anticipates making a single award to the most highly qualified offeror, however in accordance with the terms of the solicitation the Government may exercise the right to make multiple awards.
