Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a New Office and Visitors Center located at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge, Brooksville, MS. Work included under this invitation consists of the construction of an office and visitors center; building center (approximately 7,700 SF) including all general construction, site work and utilities as described on the drawings and in the specifications. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 233320. The size standard is $27.5 million. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 09/30/02, with a 30 day closing. Requests for IFB shall be in writing, stating IFB number 401812B019, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number/fax number. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 360 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on/about 11/29/02. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests may be faxed to (404) 679-4057. There is no charge for obtaining the solicitation, however, only one copy to each company per request.
