Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation/Solicitation for Commercial Supplies/Services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this Notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request For Quotations and incorporates Provisions and Clauses IAW the FAR/DFAR. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT to PRESTIGE POWDER FINISHING CO. ITEM 0001 IS LIFT FAN PADDLES NSN 4140-01-217-0374 AND 4140-01-217-0375 NAVSEA DRAWING 5749552002. QTY IS 1,219 EACH. STRIP/BURN OFF EXISTING EPOXY COATING. PRETREAT AND POWDER IS TO BE AN EPOXY WITH COLOR OF 134 SCOTCH COAT TO GREEN TO GRAY WITH THICKNESS OF 16-20 MILS(MORTON POWDER #13-7001). ALL PARTS GUARANTEED AGAINST CORROSION FOR A PERIOD OF 120 DAYS FROM DATE OF ACCEPTANCE BY ACU-4. IF THE FINISH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BY ACU-4, PRESTIGE POWDER FINISHING CO WILL REPAIR IT AT NO COST TO THE GOVERNMENT. SHIPPING TO AND FROM AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE GOVERNMENT. Closing Date of Quote is OCTOBER 1, 2002 1200 NOON Eastern Standard Time. Facsimile Responses are preferred at 757-444-3081. Please include your TAX ID Number, Cage Code, DUNS Number and Buy American Certification, when submitting your quote. Quotes will not be accepted unless you are registered on the Contractors Central Register.
