- Please note the Solicitation Number has changed (from F05611-02-R-0023 to F05611-02-R-0029) since posting the notice of intent to issue an RFP. The USAF Academy will issue an RFP (F05611-02-R-0029) on 2 August 2002 for Base-Wide (including Family Housing) Refuse and Recycle Services at the USAF Academy, and possibly Peterson Air Force Base and Cheyenne Air Force Station all located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and transportation (to an approved site) associated with Refuse and Recycling services. Refuse services shall require the emptying, cleaning and general maintenance of approximately 400 receptacles at various times and at various sites throughout the Base (including an off-site recreation area). These services are subject to Wage Determination 94-2079 for Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. Any resulting contract shall be a firm, fixed price contract for the period 1 OCT 2002 thru 30 SEP 2003 plus four one-year option periods. This solicitation will be full and open competition for NAICS code 562111 (Solid Waste) SIC 4953 (Refuse) which applies to business size $10.5 million. The RFP will be available electronically in FedBizOps 2 Aug 02.
