Description
The purpose of this amendment is to respond to vendor questions received to date. QUESTION: Size of Target Market. ANSWER: Approximately 4,300 (military and civilian). QUESTION: Attributes of target market e.g. families and related size, single, married, ethnicity, race, age, etc.? ANSWER: The workforce is ethnically diverse and has quite a few wheelchair bound as well as hearing impaired and deaf employees. The ages range from 18 years to 65 years. QUESTION: Geographic boundaries of target market? For instance, miles and radius from where services are delivered. ANSWER: Generally all services are delivered in and around the building. However, there are a few events that may take place within a 5 mile radius. QUESTION: The results of any previous marketing efforts? ANSWER: Previous marketing on most events have been effective. There are areas where improvement is needed. QUESTION: Can the offeror submit their response by electronic mail or does it have to be hand delivered by FedEx or UPS? ANSWER: Facsimile is acceptable. QUESTION: Is there an incumbent firm currently providing marketing services to the DLA? ANSWER: Yes. QUESTION: What is the projected budget estimate the DLA has for 1 year of these marketing services? ANSWER: See previous responses. QUESTION: Do you have a preference for working with a firm in DC or VA? ANSWER: No. QUESTION: Does the contractor have to be located in VA? ANSWER: No. QUESTION: Is there any additional information we need besides the original synopsis and the modification? Any Spec? Item Schedule? ANSWER: See previous amendment to Request for Quote. QUESTION: What is the format in Subpart 12.6? Where can I find this supplement? ANSWER: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. QUESTION: The number of hours for Program Manager is 26 hours? ANSWER: That is the Government Estimate. Offerors may propose whatever hours they believe are required. QUESTION: What is the due date? ANSWER: 20 Sep 02. QUESTION: How can we get Subpart 12.6, as supplemented w/additional information in this notice? ANSWER: See previous response. QUESTION: Is there a budget range for this RFP?
