- Description
- The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source contract to Federal Solutions LLC located at P.O. Box 846 Sheboygan, Wi 53082-0846 for the purchase of replacement seat covers for various waiting rooms throughout the Medical Cneter as well as the main lobby. The fabric must match existing fabrics and decor and must be sized for existing Renata seating furniture. Seat covers include a moisture barrier. Fabric must meet or exceed all life safety codes for fire retardancy and flamability standards. Fabric must meet or exceed all mandates for cleanability, infection control standards, indoor health and well being criteria. Fabric: seats are Garnet, backs are Maharam; Pattern: Sway; Color is Sassafras. Original furniture was purchased off a GSA contract with Nemschoff. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by faxing their response to Sue Byrne at 561-882-6507 by September 25, 2002 at 2:00pm. Only written responses will be accepted. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If no responses are received by September 25, 2002 at 2:00pm, the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida will proceed with negotiations to award this contract to Federal Solutions LLC.
