- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, HOWEVER, REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY 03 SPEND PLAN. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F73COM22410100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. This acquisition is restricted to Small Business Set-Aside and is under North American Industry Classification System code 811212 with a small business size standard of 6million dollars. Statement of Work for SmartNet Contract covering CISCO products 1. Provide automatic updates, on request, of all major releases, with sophisticated upgrade planning processes, as well as maintenance fixes. 2. Advance replacement of hardware parts in the event of hardware failure. The vendor shall provide a hardware replacement unit delivered within 24 hours of receiving the request. 8x5xNexzt Business Day Guaranteed delivery of hardware replacement parts the next business day, provided that the request is received before 3 P.M. local time. 3. Major and maintenance release of CISCO IOS? Software via CISCO.com or media. 4. 24x7 access to Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for priority 1 (P1) and priority 2 (P2) telephone support with critical problem escalation (telephone callback within one hour by the CISCO TAC) for all hardware, configuration and software problems, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday, excluding Cisco observed holidays.
