Description: BLM intends to award a sole cource contract to the Desert Research Institute, 2215 Raggio Parkway, Reno, Nevada 89512. This contract is for the supplemental alternative development and analysis for completion of the Walker River Basin EIS based on new strategy development. The original supplemental development and analysis was issued as a sole source based on basic and applied research conducted by Institute. Award to any other vendor would likely result in a substantial duplication of cost that is not expected to be recovered through competition. The contract will provide for completion of analysis rework by September 2002
