- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Northeast Regional Contracting Office intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution McKean (Bradford), Pennsylvania. The services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four, 12 month option periods for renewal. Services shall be provided within a 50-mile radius of the FCI at McKean, Pennsylvania. The estimated quantities for Base Year and all option years are as follows: 75 Inpatient Days, 100 Outpatient Visits for each contract year. The solicitation will be available on or after May 30, 2002 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site and should register at www.FedBizOpps.gov to receive notifications regarding information updates about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about July 12, 2002. The NAICS code for this service is 622110 with small business size standard of $29.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. This acquisition is unrestricted, open to both large and small businesses.
