Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F44600-02-T-0151 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. (iv) The NAICS code is 541710 with a size standard, averaged over a one year period of 500 employees. (v) Langley AFB plans to procure on a sole source basis, from Veridian Erim International, Inc for annual software upgrade for Erips and Telephone support. Erim International holds the sole license for the sale of Erips software. (vi) The following requirements are applicable: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide software upgrade and 24 hour telephone support for the Erips software used in the production of the Arc Digital Raster Images (ADRI). (vii) Delivery: Performance Period will be 1 Oct 2002 through 30 September 2003. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) N/A.
