Description

Provide all equipment, parts, labor, and incidentals to repair road slumps by hauling and disposal of approximately 384 cubic meters of excavation, placing approximately 280 cubic meters of pit run, approximately 85 cubic meters of crushed aggregate, approximately 401 square meters of geoweb and approximately 287 square meters of hot asphalt, removing and disposing of one corrigated metal pipe, install approximately 26 meters corrigated metal pipe, and installation of under drains by placing approximately 12 meters of plastic 150-mm collector pipe, approximately 20 meters of plastic 150-mm outlet pipe, approximately 4.5 cubic meters of coarse drain rock, and approximately 37 square meters of geotextile. PROJECT LOCATION. From Hood River, travel south on Dee Highway which starts out as Tucker Road, for approximately 12 miles to the junction of Lost Lake Road, at the town of Dee. Travel west on Lost Lake Road which turns into Forest Route 13, to the junction of Road 1800. PRICE RANGE. The Government Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract Time is 45 days. Work is expected to begin on October 18, 2002. BONDING REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall submit one of the following payment protections. Payment Bond. Irrevocable Letter of Credit. Certificate of Deposit. The amount of the payment protections shall be 100 percent of the contract price. Documents will be available at this website only approximately September 24, 2002.
