Description

Work will consist of the removal and disposal of downed and damaged trees, brush, logs, tops, building materials, household items, and miscellaneous flood debris from the Guadalupe River channel and designated flood plain areas. Debris will be disposed of at locations and in a manner specified by the Contracting Officer. Contractor will be responsible for all disposal fees. All work areas and easement routes will be marked or identified by the Sponsor. The Contractor may utilize alternate access routes/burn sites provided they obtain written permission from the landowner and concurrence from the Contracting Officer. Contractor will be responsible for traffic control as neeeded. Contractor shall be responsible for all burning operations including required permits. Only one award will be made for the entire project. The NAICS Code is 562111. Performance period will be 91 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed date, which will be approximately November 1, 2002. This project is unrestricted and is not set-aside for small business concerns. Price range is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Site showing will be conducted on October 11, 2002, 10:00 A.M., at Comal County Commissioners Court, 199 Main Plaza, New Braunfels TX 78130. Solicitation will be posted and be available to download on or about September 30, 2002.

Address: Work will be within the defined channel and designated flood plain areas of the Guadalupe extending from 500 feet below the outlet works of Canyon Dam (approximately RM 302.5) to the IH-35 bridge in New Braunfels TX (approximately RM 279.0).
