- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is ESQ20361 and incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 2001-08. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is set aside for small businesses in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The NAICS/Code is 334310/750EM. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences is interested in obtaining a contractor to provide management oversight services for audio-visual equipment project involving various conference rooms. Contractor will be responsible for recommending appropriate equipment, purchase and installation, and follow up services after completion of installation. A-V equipment will be used for in-house presentations, presentations by visitors, and must be state of the art. Purchase and installation are part of the total cost. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted by e-mail no later than September 19 to Elaine Shoaf, shoaf1@niehs.nih.gov. Offers are due no later than 3:30 P.M., EDT, September 23, 2002. Faxed quotes will be accepted at 919 541-5117. The following provision applies to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors. There are no additional addenda. Offerors shall include with offers a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following paragraphs of 52.212-5 apply: (a) and (11) - (16) (21) (22) (25) (27) of (b).
