Description

NA The Oregon Army National Guard is intending to sole source the following procurement to Telsa Industries, Inc. The Oregon Army National Guard needs six (6) portable dry cell ground power units to support operations of our maintenance facilities. These un its are needed to provide the capability to ?jump start? combat vehicles and recharge batteries without removing them from the vehicles. The minimum requirements for an acceptable dry cell power unit are as follows: a.) 24VDC, 46 Amp-hour, rechargeable po wer, b.) 28.5 VDC, 40 Amp continuous power, c.) 2,000-3,000 peak cold cranking amps and standard NATO connectors, d.) Rechargeable from standard 110-220 VAC outlet source, e.) Gel electrolyte in the rechargeable cells so that accidental breaching of the ca se will not constitute an environmental spill, f.) Movable and operable by one person. Small and light enough to be transported in a HUMMV, g.) capable of operating within the temperature range of -40 degrees C to + 60 degrees C. Award can only be made t o a contractor that is registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) and those in compliance with VETS-100 reporting requirements. Contractor is required to be Electronic Funds Transfer capable (EFT). Closing dates for responses is Sep tember 24, 2002 no later than 3:30 PM pacific standard time to this office.
