Description
311 HSW/YACL, 7980 Lindbergh Landing, Brooks AFB, TX 78235-5119, intends to award a firm-fixed price order, for 16 each, Radiac Set Medical Kit, ADM-300A Kit C, NSN: 6665-01-320-4712MV, P/N: 702453, under the authority of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. Form, Fit, Function: Item is used to provide area radiation detection for areas in which X-ray radiation is produced by Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) devices. These detecting sets were designed to be portable and battery operated to allow for ease of operation. The meter is designed to provide readings in multiple radiation ranges. Delivery 120 days after receipt of order. Delivery to CONUS & OCONUS destinations. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. All potential offerors should contact the buyer identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
