Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), supplemented with information included in this notice. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses at FAR 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions, and any others that are applicable and in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) and the Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC). It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provision. This synopsis constitutes only the solicitation, no hard copy RFQ will be prepared or made available. The Government intends to award, on a Sole Source basis, an order to USC MOSIS SERVICE, Quantity 120 each, Custom Application (ASIC) Chips. Description: Technical requestor will supply design for 3 separate custom projects to be fabricated using the TSMC 0.35um micron process. The total number of chips being procured is 120 chips for all three runs with approximately 60 chips being packaged. Each design will be less than 7mm^2 . Once the design is fabricated, the contractor will package between 20-40 chips from each of the three runs. The full text of the FAR and DFARS can be accessed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. Technical questions may be emailed up to three (3) business days prior to the closing date of this announcement. Numbered Note 22 applies; however, all responses received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) of the date of this adverstisement maybe considered by the Government. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required for all contractors doing business with DOD. Information to register to CCR can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/.
