- The proposed contract action is issued in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(1). A copy of solicitation, MDA112-02-T-0063 is attached to this announcement. Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure for four (4) each, follow-on requirements for the one (1) bundle, Checkpoint Enterprise Encryption Center SW Subscriptions; one (1) each, Checkpoint Enterprise Encryption Center Gold Plus Supports; one (1) bundle, Checkpoint VPN-1 FW Module/Unlimited SW Subscription; one (1) bundle, Checkpoint VPN-1 Firewall Module/Unlimited Gold Plus Supports; one (1) bundle, Stonebeat FC for FW-1 Premium Support, First Two nodes for the on-site services. The suggested supplier are provided for reference only. FOB destination to 1) American Forces Information Service (AFIS), Alexandria, VA; 2) Defense Information School (DINFOS), Fort Meade, MD; Television Audio Support Activity (TASA), Sacramento, CA; 4) American Forces Radio & Television Service, Broadcast Center(AFRTS-BC), March ARB, CA. Performance Starting on October 01, 2002 through September 30, 2003. The Government anticipates negotiating and entering into contract on a sole source basis with True North Solutions, Inc under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The solicitation provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-9. All responses to this solicitation must make reference to MDA112-02-T-0063.
