Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation F29650-02-T-0135 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is a brand name request for Monark 839E computerized fitness bikes. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-09. (iv) This acquisition is set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 421910 and small business size standards is 500 Employees. (vi) Line item 0001, Monark 839E computerized fitness testing bikes, quantity five, to include shipping costs. Acceptance will be FOB destination to 2050A 2nd St. SE, Building 20228, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico 87117 (viii) FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, is not applicable. Award will be based on price.
