Description

The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to AudioCare Systems of Malvern, PA, for an automated call-in refill and appointment reminder system. This acquisition is set-aside for small business. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3669. The NAICS code is 334290. The following items will be procured: Appoinment Reminder/Pharmacy Refill System. System includes the following: Base AudioCARE NT Server (includes 8 users M-Talk license to support 8 telephones), Prescription Inquiry and Refills via Telephone, Automated Appointment Reminders Via Telephone, and Offline Pharmacy Processing When Host is Unavailable. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is 27 September 2002. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, 26 September 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the closing date. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
