Description

The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with AccessData for the procurement of the following: development of the client application for the SUN Solaris Unix Operation System that will work for the DNA Server, procurement of windows 2000 and XP encrypted file system Module, Microsoft Work and Excel for XP 128bit encryption Module, PGP Disk, PDF 40bit encrypted Module, research stegonography of s-tool and steganos and develop a white paper outlining the cost to create a DNA Module, upgrade the DNA system to conduct attacks against non-English languages. AccessData is the only known source for the software identified in this procurement action. Only written responses received by 26 September 2002 will be accepted. Interested parties are required to provide a full capability statement by 26 September 2002. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice. See Note 22 (Sole Source Award). Note 22 is modified to read 5 days in lieu of 30 days.
