- Description
- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation (COW-VDS-0922) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Quoters shall submit a proposal compliant with the following specification requirements: twenty (20) Custom fabricated portable graphic kiosks. Each kiosk to be fully finished on all sides. Size: 2355mm (Tall) X 2945mm (Long) X 355mm (Wide), not to exceed 155 pounds in total weight. To include: one (1) custom graphic design montage to include design hours and nine (9) high-resolution drum scans, layout, typesetting. Composition digital montage comprised of nine documented images. One (1) large vignette background image with overlapping high-resolution tiled images. To include: fonts, text, drop shadows, and "badge logo." Sixty (60) high quality graphic panels 777mm X 2340mm with scratch resistant protection and scratch resistant surface coating. Mounting hardware: (two (2) PVC slotted flat rigid panel guards, with two (2) lengths of magnetic stripping 2355mm (L) 13mm (W) and 2 aluminum panel stiffeners). Twenty (20) large high-resolution header panels 330mm (W) X 2327mm (L) with scratch resistant finish. Panels printed on 300-poly ply with GS indoor inks with ultraviolet protection and scratch resistant surface coating and mounting hardware. Twenty (20) premium expanding aluminum frames with unconditional lifetime warranty. Comprised of: 48-789mm (L) X 13mm (D) aluminum rods, 12-5500mm (L) X 13mm (D) aluminum rods, 35-50mm (D) PVC junctions encasing steel connecting rings. Frame must require no locking mechanisms. One hundred and sixty (160) compatible magnetic seam menders with shelf rail slots with unconditional lifetime warranty. Each mender comprised of 3-780mm (L) X 31mm (W) aluminum rails with 23-15mm slots per rail. These three (3) sections connect with male/female PVC adapters and elastic connecting cord between rails. Twenty (20) lighting packages to include: set of 2 Deco halogen lights with 150 watt bulbs with protective glass safety shield, and one (1) multi outlet surge protector with master switch. Forty impact resistant rotationally molded-wheeled shipping contains (1000mm (L) X 400mm (W) X 402mm (D) with integrated rotationally molded plastic handles. Integrated step stool with rubber non-slip pad and locking storage compartments 325mm (L) X 220mm (W) X 60mm (D). Twenty (20) custom portable counters 890mm (L) x 560mm (W) X 1070mm (H). Four (4) sides pms 343 green fabric panels, and black textured PVC counter top and molded black base. NOTE: All shipping containers must fit inside counter cavity. Forty 777mm x 2340mm premium pms 343 green Velcro compatible fabric panels with PVC backing and mounting hardware (Two (2) PVC double slotted flat rigid panel guards, with two lengths of magnetic stripping 2335mm long 13mm wide and two aluminum panel stiffeners). Twenty (20) additional graphic containers with carry handle for panels and graphics. One (1) custom graphic header design to include design hours and one (1) high-resolution drum scan, layout, and typesetting. To include: fonts, text, drop shadows, and "badge logo". Any applicable discount for graphic design and compilation. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2001-09. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size standard for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to the Immigration and Naturalization Service is required with 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. OFFERORS MUST FAX OR E-MAIL THEIR OFFERS BY 3:00 PM EST, 25 SEP 02. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THEIR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS (FAR 52.212-3). Quotations may be faxed to INS, Attn: Victoria D. Short, phone number (202) 514-1959 and fax number (202) 514-3353, or e-mailed to Victoria.D.Short@usdoj.gov. Include solicitation number, FOB Destination to INS Headquarters Washington, DC, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), DUNS number (Dunn & Bradstreet), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial items found at URL http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/Proc/ProcDocs/FormList.taf?function=search&sort=type. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing no later than September 23, 2002. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quoter. Technical acceptability will be determined by information submitted by the quoter providing a description in sufficient detail to show that the product quoted meets the Government's requirements. Quoters must provide copies of the provision (http://www.arnet.gov) at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items with their quote. Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this combination synopsis/solicitation and amendments (if any). The following provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; and 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Offerors who fail to submit completed Representations and Certifications may be considered non-responsive. The following clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Other than Central Contractor Registration.
