- Description
- The VAMC, Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a contractor to provide a rapid thermal cycling system with quantitative real-time detection for measuring absolute levels of DNA or RNA by polymerase chain reaction. System must have 16 independently programmable reaction sites, each with 4-color excitation and detection capability. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 539-10-03 is being issued as a request for quotation, with incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. NAICS Code applicable to this procurement is 339112 and small business size standard is 500 employees or less. The follwoing clauses apply to this procurement: 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors - Commercial; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Items (which must be completed and returned with the offer); 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items.
