Description
NA The Contractor shall remove, load and transport the existing NAC3 and NAC4 Cooling Coil assemblies currently installed at Mount Elbert Powerplant; remove and properly dispose of the existing coils from the NAC3 and NAC4 assemblies; clean and modify the existing frames as described; design, provide, install and test the new cooling coils as described; and deliver the completed assemblies to the Mount Elbert Powerplant. Contractor shall also submit design drawings as described. Payment for Bid Item 0001 will be made after completion of the work as described herein and for one job only. Options and variances will not be conisdered. The Contractor shall be responsible for collecting actual sizes, dimensions and quantities for the work from the existing NAC3 and NAC4 cooling coil assemblies. The completed cooling coil assemblies shall be tested for four (4) hours under design test pressures and witnessed by a government represenataive. The Contractor shall give a one-week notice to the government representative prior to testing. Test results shallb e documented and submitted to the Contracting Officer's Representative. No leaks shall be allowed. Offerors are encouraged to visit the Mount Elbert power plant to obtain specific critical controlling dimensions for the new coils and to discuss operating requirements with plant operators. Completion date is 120 calendar days after receipt of award. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be available on or around October 15, 2002, and quotes are tentatively due in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, MT 59101 on or around Close of Business November 14, 2002. This is a Total Small Busines Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3855. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 333415. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. To receive a copy of this RFQ, fax a request to the Bureau of Reclamation Attention: Beverly Beckman at (406) 247-7798. The fax must include the Contractors name, address, phone/fax number, federal tax identification and Dun and Bradstreet number.
