Description

Furnish flight services fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of two airplanes, one Casa 212 or equal and one Dornier DO228-200, or equal, for the initial attack on wildland fires. Aircraft will be used as an aerial platform for the deployment of airborne firefighters and their equipment, and will perform low level flights for the purpose of paracargo operations. Service is for Bureau of Land Management, Alaska Fire Service. Contract period is 90 days beginning May 1, 2003. Designated base is Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. The term of this contract will be one year with options to renew for an additional three years. Certification under 14 CFR and Chapter 135, Air Taxi Operators and Commercial Operators is required.
