Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. This acquisition is unrestricted. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3663 and NAICS Code is 334220. This equipment is required for replacement of non-atcal air to ground transceiver equipment. The following items will be procured: URC-200: Transceiver (URC-200), Handset (PTHS-110), Battery Box (UBC-100), Antenna (UVU-100), O&M Manual, Qty. 35; UAC-300: AC Power Supply for URC-200 & UPA-50, Qty. 6; UIB-100: 28VDC input: Provides unfiltered 28VDC to transceiver and power amplifier, Qty. 6; URM-100: Rack Mount, Qty. 33; UPA-50: 50 Watt FM, 30 Watt AM Power Amplifier, Cable & Mounting Kit, Qty. 6; UVU-200: Antenna, Basestation, Qty. 33; UAC-100: AC Power Supply for URC-200 only, Qty. 27; X-Mode Mating Connector (long), Qty. 35. The product descriptions provided above are meant to show the Government's minimum requirements. Offerors can quote with like items, but must submit evidence of capability and compatibility of replacements. Offerors quoting equals must provide descriptive literature to the extent necessary to allow the Government to determine the technical acceptability of the equal item. All bidders must submit completed FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items with the offer. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, contact the contract specialist to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Additionally all bidders must be current registrants in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov). Responses are limited to 15 pages and must be received no later than (NLT) 10:00 a.m., Pacific Standard Time, September 30, 2002.
