- The following text hereby replaces the original synopsis description submitted on August 22, 2002. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services and Mothers with Infants Program for male and female offenders in the Tallahassee, Florida area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC), including Chapter 23 - Mothers with Infants (MINT) Program, dated August 2000 and revised May 2002. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 71% male and 29% female. The estimated number of inmate days for CCC services are 15,330 for the base period; 7,665 for option period one; 7,665 for option period two; and 7,655 for option period three. The estimated number of inmate days for MINT services 7,300 for the base period; 3,650 for option period one, two and three. The requirements for Line Items One and Two are anticipated to result in the award of one contract. The solicitation will be available on or after September 22, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is November 22, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitations will be accepted.
